What Data We Collect

When you use Remo Code, we collect and store:

• Account information — username and hashed password
• Chat messages — the text messages you send to Claude Code sessions and the text responses received back, for the purpose of displaying chat history
• Session metadata — session names, connection status, and timestamps

What We Do NOT Collect

• Source code — your code never leaves your machine. Claude Code operates locally.
• API keys — we never see, store, or transmit your Anthropic API key or any other credentials.
• Filesystem access — we have no access to files on your machine.

How We Use Your Data

Chat messages are stored solely to provide the chat history feature. We do not analyze, mine, or use your messages for any purpose other than displaying them to you in the web interface.

Data Security

All connections use TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Session tokens are stored as hashes. Chat data is stored in an encrypted database.

Data Retention

Free accounts retain chat history for 30 days. Paid accounts have unlimited retention. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Third-Party Services

We may use basic analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand site usage. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
